TO ORDER – 9:00 a.m. PUBLIC COMMENT: Martha Drohobyczer, MSN, RN, APN, CNM, stated that in her role as a member of the Nevada Nurses Association’s Special Practice Group/Advanced Practitioners of Nursing (SPG/APN), she was informing the Board of her group’s intent to go forward with a request that the 2007 Nevada Legislature pass a bill granting independent practice to APNs. She cited 40 years of safe APN practice and the need for greater patient access to health care services as two major reasons to support such legislation. Sharon

in Las Vegas, described Pima’s plans to request future Board approval to
